Safeguarding
At Riverview FC, safeguarding our players is paramount. We ensure every child enjoys a safe, positive, and inclusive environment, fully protecting their well-being.
Our Commitment to a Safe Environment
Riverview FC is entirely dedicated to creating a secure and supportive atmosphere for all participants. We rigorously adhere to The FA’s safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring that all coaches, volunteers, and staff working with children hold up-to-date DBS checks and receive regular safeguarding training. Beyond this, we enforce clear Codes of Conduct for all members, promoting respect, appropriate behaviour, and a truly positive football experience both on and off the pitch.
Our Culture of Care
Safeguarding at Riverview FC extends beyond simply having policies in place; it’s an integral part of our daily club culture. We firmly believe that protecting our players is a shared responsibility among all coaches, volunteers, parents, and indeed the players themselves. We actively foster an environment of open communication where everyone feels comfortable, confident, and empowered to contribute to a safe space. Through ongoing awareness and training, we ensure that safeguarding best practices are understood and applied across all our activities, promoting positive relationships and a respectful environment for everyone involved.

At Riverview FC, we take safeguarding our players very seriously. We strongly encourage everyone to speak up if they have any safeguarding concerns, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.
